The celebrations continue for George Clooney and new fiancé Amal Alamuddin! After getting engaged last month, the pair toasted their upcoming nuptials at Café Habana this past weekend.

The Malibu restaurant is owned by Clooney's friend and business partner Rande Gerber. His wife Cindy Crawford was there along with Bono, who was celebrating his birthday.

"George seemed sweet with his fiancee," a witness said. "I saw them kiss once, and he had his arm around her the majority of the time. They looked very happy."

The guests congregated on the patio and appeared to be having fun; some even took part in karaoke! They sipped wine and toasted the couple's engagement with tequila.

"After the toast, George and his fiancée were all over each other," a source told People. "Lots of hugging."

Clooney proposed to the human rights lawyer with a 7-karat ring over a home cooked meal. He left with his leading lady around 7 p.m. in a limo, armed with flowers and gifts.

While it once seemed Clooney was not the settle-down type, the sexy and smart Alamuddin has him tamed.

"He has found someone who is as smart as he is and who is her own independent woman," the pal says. "Amal seems to be the best fit for him he's ever had," his pal told the mag.

Jean Pigozzi added, "They look good together, she's a very smart and serious girl."

Another onlooker told E! News the venue was busy for Mother's Day, but fellow guests were thrilled of the happenings.

"People got a show they didn't expect and other [restaurant patrons] said it was the best Mother's Day ever," they said.
