George Clooney is officially off the market! The former Hollywood bachelor proposed to girlfriend Amal Alamuddin sometime over the last two weeks. Congrats to the happy couple!

"This is the healthiest relationship I've ever seen George in," a source told Us Weekly. "He seems incredibly happy, and Amal is such a sweet and intelligent girl, who has her own thoughts and ideas and doesn't just bow down to everything he says."

Alamuddin, who is referred to as "London's hottest lawyer," was spotted last week sporting a giant diamond sparkler on her engagement finger. The pair was first seen as a couple back in October in London.

They were also coupled at the White House screening of Clooney's flick "Monuments Men."

"George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem. I think it's like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever," a source told Times of India.

Clooney was previously linked to Lisa Snowdon, Elisabetta Canalis, and Stacy Keibler. He was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.

Alamuddin's colleagues sang her high praises and are thrilled about her engagement to the star.

"Amal has been utterly wonderful since she arrived in Chambers. She brings a bright light to everything she is involved in, and I am so delighted at her happy news," Chief Executive Robin Jackson said.

She was spotted showing off her ring to Miss Crawford, wife of Clooney's business partner Rande German. Multiple onlookers spotted the couple at Craig's diner in LA and claim they were celebrating the good news.

The "Monuments Men" star's rep would not comment on this matter, according to reports.
