"Orange is the New Black" took Netflix by storm when it premiered its first season last summer. Now the inmates are gearing up for season 2 on the cover of Entertainment Weekly!

Creator Jenji Kohan shared a 50-second clip with the publication along with some secrets. We see here Chapman losing it in solitary confinement. It appears a few weeks after the brutal beat down of fellow inmate Pennsatucky.

The series focuses on Piper Chapman (played by Taylor Schilling), who gave up her new lifestyle when her past relationship with a drug runner, Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), caught up with her. They briefly rekindle in prison causing tension with her current fiancé, writer Larry Bloom (Jason Biggs).

Chapman must find her place in the woman's prison, dealing with tough cellmates, an ex, and betrayal, all while clinging to her life at home.

"We had a theme for season 2," Kohan explained of the upcoming OITNB season. "A little darker, a little more fractured. We wanted to explore the groups one at a time. It was getting a little summer-campy, and we wanted to address the realities that this is prison."

Most buzz this season stems from rumors of Prepon's character Alex leaving the show. Fortunately, she addressed these rumors during a chat with The Daily Beast.

"Basically, I wasn't a series regular and wasn't under contract, and then had a scheduling conflict that came up during Season 2," she revealed. "But I love the show and I love my character, and I told Jenji from the get-go, 'I want to be in as many as I can.'"

She continued, "So we did, and I'll be in four episodes for Season 2. And then if we get a Season 3, I'll be in every episode. I totally missed the show. It sucks, but there's only one of me, and there's only so much time in the day. We did what we could, and if there's a Season 3, I worked it out so that wouldn't be an issue anymore."
