It looks like with the drama surrounding her ex-husband Tom Crusie and their famous divorce due to his belief in Scientology, Katie Holmes has retreated into some dark times with a dark look.

According to E! News, the brunette beauty decided to subtly changer her look as 2013 is coming to an end.

Apparently Suri Cruise's mom debuted darker hair while out at the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York City over the weekend.

Don't worry if you missed her newly darkened locks seeing as you had to look very closely if you wanted to catch the "Mania Days" actress' hair color change.

Katie Holmes showed off a richer, darker chocolate shade, which the celebrity news site prompts is nearly identical to the new hue that Kate Middleton is now sporting around London.

The "Miss Meadows" star also chopped off her long locks for a shorter length that now ends just past her shoulders similar to her 2010 post-bob cut hairstyle.
