In her memoir, "Telling It Like It Is," Tori Spelling spilled about her not so friendly encounter with Katie Holmes prior to her 2012 divorce with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

According to Us Weekly, Spelling, 40, met and bonded with Holmes years ago during the actress' time on "Dawson's Creek." But when they met again years later things were very different between the two.

According to RadarOnline, an excerpt revealed that the two came face to face with one another at the office of vocal coach Eric Vetro.

Before she saw Katie Holmes, Tori Spelling heard the "Mania Days" actress from the studio "singing horribly off-key."

In her book Aaron Spelling's daughter noted that Holmes drastically change during her marriage to Tom Cruise. However, once Holmes emerged from the studio she said hello but kept her distance from Spelling.

The actress turned reality star explained, "I didn't know whether we should hug or shake hands. But the signal from her was immediately clear: Don't even come close. I instantly got nervous.

"We clearly weren't going to catch up on the last ten years. And we certainly weren't going to talk about her husband, Tom Cruise."

Spelling revealed that she complimented the actress on her daughter Suri Cruise who is now 7-years-old but Holmes claimed she was didn't know that Tori had two kids of her own (Stella and Liam at the time, with husband Dean McDermott).

The actress' memoir continued, "Then I was annoyed."

She added, "Come on. Okay, I know you're busy. But you're in the public eye. Don't tell me you don't follow the tabloids. Don't tell me you don't know anything about other celebrities and their kids . . .Then we stood there.

"She was just plastic. In a perfectly polite way . . . my pits were drenched. I never sweat. It was that awkward. I thought, I know you're not a robot because you can't sing for s**t. As my anxiety faded, I just felt sorry for her."

She went on to write, "I felt sad for her. Those paparazzi photos, the ones where she looks like she's miserable but putting on a happy face? That's what she looked like in person."

Spelling added that Holmes filed for divorce soon after their encounter.
