After being pushed back a month, the filming of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie has finally begun! The shooting for the sexy flick officially began on Sunday, December 1st in Vancouver where the author of the erotic trilogy, E.L. James decided to share a behind-the-scenes sneak peek from the set.
James took to Instagram to post a photo of a slate during the first roll of the 25th scene featuring the 1st take she attached the caption, "Action!"
Dana Brunetti, the producer of "Fifty Shades of Grey" re-tweeted James' snapshot, and added "And we're off."
Meanwhile, the screenwriter of the movie, Kelly Marcel tweeted her well-wishes to the first day of filming, as she wrote, "Thinking of team 50 today-- @E_L_James @DanaBrunetti @MichaelDe_Luca @jebbrody. Good luck guys."
According to E! News, some of the filming took place at Rainier Provisions Cafe, where Jamie Dornan, who plays the male protagonist, Christian Grey looked handsome wearing a gray suit jacket paired with a white dress shirt and a picturesque tousled mane.
However, noticeably missing from the first day on set was his leading lady Dakota Johnson, who plays the sexually naive Anastasia Steele however, she was later spotted at the cafe.
Finishing off the cast is the likes of Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, the adopted brother of Christian, Eloise Mumford as Anastasia's roommate and best friend, Kate Kavanagh, Victor Rasuk as Anastasia's pal, José, and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia's mother, Carla.
The film, which may possibly score a NC-17 rating is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Brunetti.
As a result of Charlie Hunnam quitting, the filming start date was pushed back a month and the release date suffers an extended fate seeing as it is now slated the day before Valentines Day 2015 instead of an August 2014 summer premiere.
