It looks like Dakota Johnson's brunette Anastasia Steele is getting a best friend as new reports confirm that Eloise Mumford will play the blonde and beautiful Kate Kavanagh in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.

The actress who previously appeared in Miley Cyrus' movie "So Undercover" has been tapped to play the star's roommate and confidant.

According to Hollywood Life, if the actress looks familiar to you it is because she played in several television series that include appearances on episodes of "Law & Order," "Crash," "Mercy" and more.

News of Eloise Mumford joining the cast comes shortly after the announcement that that Victor Rasuk will be playing Anastasia's guy friend Jose Rodriguez, while "True Blood" actor Luke Grimes will take on the role of Christian's brother Elliot.

Kate Kavanagh and Anastasia Steele are long time best friends in E.L. James'erotic novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey." The two formed a bond since living together for four years at Washington State University Vancouver.

Kate is an aspiring journalist from a conservative yet rich family when she finds herself quickly falling for Elliot while trying to comfort Anastasia as she is dealing with all of her Christian Grey drama.

She also has the opposite personality of her closest gal pal. Kate is bubbly, outgoing, outspoken and, a blonde bombshell.
