It looks like the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie release date had been pushed back to 2015. The film that will star Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele respectively was set for an August 2014 premiere but will instead debut the day before Valentines Day.
According to E! News, the film adaptation of the best-selling book trilogy by E.L. James was originally slated for an August 1, 2014 release however, production on the movie was delayed after Charlie Hunnam dropped out just weeks before shooting began.
Dornan soon replaced the "Sons of Anarchy" star after beating out rumored candidates like Billy Magnussen and Scott Eastwood.
On a lighter note, just as the bad news was announced, Entertainment Weekly released the first cover of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as their characters.
Gracing the cover Dornan, 31, and Johnson, 24, are shown hugging. According to Hollywood Life, the actress channels her inner Anastasia Steele, looking like an average, yet stunning brunette, who feels uneasy in her skin.
Meanwhile, the "Once Upon a Time" actor portrays the confident Christian Grey. Looking dapper in suit jacket over his white shirt that has first button undone, Dornan places a protective arm around Dakota Johnson while holding a grey tie in his hand.
