Although the search for the new Christian Grey continues for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie, fans can be sure of one thing, Dakota Johnson isn't going anywhere and will remain Anastasia Steele.

In fact, the film's producer, Michael De Luca said that during this casting process she has been a "rock."

De Luca told E! News on the red carpet at the 2013 Hollywood Film Awards a little bit about Johnson's input considering the unexpected change of events.

He said, "She's just so Anastasia Steele. She's the best partner a producer could have."

It seems the 24-year-old's opinions are being taking into consideration seeing as she is the only big name still attached to the project after Charlie Hunnam decided to quit the trilogy.

Seeing as she had such intense chemistry with Charlie Hunnam, Dakota Johnson is now helping the producers choose candidates for the film.

De Luca said, "She's helping us look through the candidates to see which chemistry kind of captures our attention."

As for the continuous rumors that Jamie Dornan is a top contender to replace Hunnam in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation, the producer said that he couldn't comment on it.

However, he did say that he believed that the role of Christian Grey will be filled within the next month.

He explained to E! News, "We're looking on your website, we're looking under rocks in Zimbabwe, in space, on the moon. We're looking everywhere, but I think in a couple weeks it will be announced and everything will be cool."

Putting fans at ease Michael revealed that the movie based on the erotic E.L. James bestseller novels which are set to be directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, is still on schedule.

He said, "We're on track. The release date [Aug. 1, 2014] is preserved and we're gonna kind of keep going."

Despite losing Hunnam, De Luca admitted, "Charlie, I think, is an amazing actor of his generation or any generation, and we just couldn't make it work in the time he had to transform into Christian Grey."

He added, "But I think if its meant to be its meant to be. I'm convinced we'll work together again."
