It looks like the filming for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie may start on its scheduled date of November 1st as Dakota Johnson, 24, is readily transitioning into her role as Anastasia Steele.

One day after "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E. L. James confirmed that Jamie Dornan is officially the new Christian Grey, Johnson debuted brown hair at a fashion event, according to Hollywood Life.

Spotted at the 2013 CFDA & Vogue Fashion Fund Event at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, Dakota Johnson rocked darker hair instead of her signature blonde tresses, clearly making the move to achieve her new character's brown locks, according to Hollywood Life.

With her already having the large blue eyes, fans are slowly starting to accept that the actress is their Anastasia Steele after much protest to the film studio to cast a different actress for the part.

Although, she has not fully went brunette the actress is in the process of making the switch from being blonde.

Clearly taking charge and embracing each new situation, prior to switching up her hair color for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film she was also hands-on when it came to choosing Jamie Dornan, 31, as the new Christian Grey after Charlie Hunnam quit the role.
