Lea Michele is making progress in her life following the death of her boyfriend and "Glee" costar Cory Monteith. The season 5 took to her Twitter account to share a photo of herself shooting her first music video for her upcoming album.

On Sunday the starlet tweeted her more than four million followers a photo from the set of her new video with the caption, "SO EXCITED SHOOTING MY VERY FIRST MUSIC VIDEO TODAY FOR THE FIRST ALBUM SINGLE!"

Lea Michele, 27, then continued to post more pictures of the set and herself describing the shoot as "Truly an incredible day..."

According to E! News, although the actress has not revealed much about her debut album, she recently spoke with Elle magazine regarding one of the songs she recorded about Cory Monteith, titled, "You're Mine."

She explained, "The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't.'"

She went on to tell the publication, "It makes me so happy, this song," adding, "It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this."

Lea Michele also reached out to Australian songwriter Sia, who co-wrote David Guetta's "Titanium" in order to pen another song about Monteith. The artist ended up co-writing "If You Say So" with the "Glee" star.

Michele confessed, "I said [to Sia], 'I feel like I'm starting to just sink in it, and he would never want me to do that," adding, "I need to remember that you have to live, because you can want to die.'"
