In a new interview, with the December issue of Elle, Lea Michele opened up about the death of her costar and her boyfriend Cory Monteith. Following her intimate chat the actress debuted a new tattoo in his honor.

Following the July 13th discovery of her boyfriend's dead body the actress leaned on costar Kate Hudson for help and later when she got the strength, she returned to the studio to record her album which she began working on in October 2012.

However, after Monteith's passing she decided that she would push back the release date so she could add a song for him.

She revealed to the magazine, "The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?"

She explained, "I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't.'" According to the celebrity gossip site, the song she reportedly recorded for him is called, "If You Say So," which also happens to be the final words Cory Monteith ever said to her.

In order to record the track Lea Michele reached out to Australian songwriter Sia, who co-wrote David Guetta's "Titanium." The artist ended up co-writing "If You Say So" with the "Glee" star.

Michele confessed, "I said [to Sia], 'I feel like I'm starting to just sink in it, and he would never want me to do that," adding, "I need to remember that you have to live, because you can want to die.'"

The singer also decided to include a song called, "You're Mine," which she said makes her "think so much of Cory."

"It was ours," she said of the song, "When I think of him, I play this."

While at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards on October 21st Lea Michele wore a white Calvin Klein cutout dress and debuted her latest tattoo on her rib cage of the words, "If You Say So."
