Have Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling finally split? Numerous reports allege that the couple is going through a rough patch and the actress has turned to her former boyfriend, George Augusto as a shoulder to cry on.

According to Entertainment Wise, Gosling and Mendes started dating when they met on the set of "The Place Beyond the Pines" and fell in love but now it seems there is trouble in paradise for the two.

It seems that Mendes decided to call on Augusto who she dated from 2002 until 2010 but the actress' cry for support could potentially rekindle her relationship with her former flame seeing as he has been a great source of support lately.

A source told Heat magazine, "Augusto seems to think Eva's done with Ryan - he claims it's just a matter of time before she dumps him officially."

The insider added, "She's been crying on his shoulder about her problems with Ryan wanting to settle down - and as a result Eva and George have become close again."

New reports are alleging that it is Eva Mendes who doesn't want to have children, not the other way around.

Ryan Gosling is reportedly ready to start a family but his girlfriend isn't ready to become a mother yet.

This would not be the first time the "How to Catch a Monster" star's partner has pushed parenthood on her. Mendes parted ways from George Augusto for the same reason.

A source explained, "History is repeating itself with Ryan. He'd love kids and marriage but she's not ready."

Back in 2007, Eva Mendes addressed her stance on marriage and having a family. The actress admitted, "I don't wanna have kids... I love the little suckers; they're so cute. But I love sleep so much, and I worry about everything."

She went on to say, "I feel like the institution of marriage is a very archaic kinda thing. I don't think it fits in my world today."
