It looks that despite their dating problems Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes collaborate for another movie together in the upcoming film "How to Catch a Monster."
The flick will mark Gosling's directorial debut and his second time working with his girlfriend since filming their 2013 film, "The Place Beyond the Pines."
According to E! News, "Mad Men" actress Christina Hendricks who stars in "How to Catch a Monster" gushed over "The Notebook" star's perspective for the film.
She said, "[Ryan] was tremendous as a director. He knew exactly what he was looking for, set an environment for people to be truly creative in a way that I never experienced before."
Set for a 2014 released date, Hendricks went on to say, "We had the extraordinary experience-you don't always get this with a film-we rehearsed for a week and a half to two weeks before."
She continued, "So we felt like a tight unit family...We felt very close. We've all been talking since and I've seen a bunch of them since." Along with Hendricks and Mendes he film also stars Saoirse Ronan, Ben Mendelson.
While Ryan Gosling is getting praised by one of the film's stars, his real life leading lady is rumored to be furious with the star's lack of commitment to her.
A source close to the couple said, "Ryan and Eva are on the rocks over his refusal to make a solid commitment to her."
The insider added, "He's been dragging his feet on proposing. He's obsessed with his career and claims he can't focus on anything else at the moment."
"Until now she hasn't pressured him, but she's just a few months shy of 40 and told Ryan that if he doesn't want to start a family with her, she wants to find a man who's ready and willing."
