As we are forced to wait for the release of "Reign" season 2, we have some interesting spoilers for you as we slowly move closer to the fall premiere date.
According to TVLine, four new actors are expected to be cast as reoccurring characters on the CW drama between now and the new episodes set to air in October.
Apparently they will be intrigued by the "very sexually advanced" daughter of Catherine and Henry who is a young woman named Princess Claude that we can expect to see in plenty of trouble this season.
The site revealed, "French Court is going to be visited by four new faces in Season 2, including Princess Claude, the never-before-seen daughter of Catherine and Henry.
"The 'very sexually advanced' young lady will get herself into plenty of mischief, perhaps even more than Narcisse, another (much older) new face who will serve as a sparring partner for her mother."
The spoilers continue, "Then there's Conde, known as the "Prince of the Blood," who will strike up an unusual friendship with Francis, as well as Prince Thomas, who "may be the next king of France sooner than he'd imagined."
The statement went on to reveal, "If that last line has you shaking in your boots, you have a very healthy sense of fear."
This is referring to the fact that the show follows the historical timeline of the French Court and according to records, King Francis doesn't live too long after taking the place of his father King Henry on the throne.
This may mean that "Reign" season 2 will potentially be the last time we see Toby Regbo's Francis grace the small screen alongside Adelaide Kane's Mary, Queen of Scots.
Last season we said goodbye to King Henry who went mad as the season progressed and was eventually murdered by his own son.
It now looks like the Mary, Francis and Bash love triangle will soon come to an end with the death of the former Dauphin.
