It looks like no one will be safe on the CW's "Reign" season finale, especially the main characters!
According to E! News, the latest spoiler for the hit television show revealed that not only is more than one person out to kill the King of France but it just so happens to be the people closest to him.
In a new sneak peek for the May 15th episode we will see King Henry (Alan Van Sprang) continue to lose his mind, forcing the remaining the royals to make some difficult decisions.
However, the queens of the French Court Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Catherine (Megan Follows) seem to have already made up their minds.
In episode 21, "Long Live the King," we see Mary going against Francis'(Toby Regbo) wishes and instead teaming up with Catherine.
In a sneak peek clip, Catherine conspires with Mary convincing the young royal that they must kill her husband.
Cast member Adelaide Kane teased her storyline hinting that Mary and Francis will have a "bittersweet" reunion when he returns to French Court after being off at war for four months.
She explained, "The reunion between Mary and Francis is going to be somewhat bittersweet," adding, "With any couple, if you spend that much time apart, there's going to be a disconnect when you come back together."
Speaking of couples, the brunette beauty revealed that the issue of Lola's (Anna Popplewell) pregnancy is still a hot topic seeing as Francis still doesn't know he's the father and Mary is barren.
Kane revealed, "With Lola and the baby and [Mary] still remaining childless, she's had more time to focus on the fact that she can't have children.
"Just because they love each other and he's been away at war, that doesn't mean they don't still have conflicting patriotic duties. That's never going to change."
