The CW's hit television show "Reign" is going to have a crazy season finally as the ruler of France, King Henry (Alan Van Sprang) continues to lose his mind.
In the last episode Henry convinced himself that in order to rule England he must kill his son Francis (Toby Regbo) and marry Mary (Adelaide Kane).
According to E! News, in the latest spoiler that comes in the form of a new sneak peek of the season finale episode "Slaughter of the Innocence," King Henry casually plots his son's death while planning his wedding.
While trying to follow the historical timeline we know that in reality Francis died shortly after his marriage to the Queen of Scots so there is honestly only a matter of time before his character is killed off.
In the short clip we see a servant ask King Henery if he wants the extra spice added to his son's meal and by spice he means poison.
Barely giving the question a second thought he tells the servant to stick to the plan and assures him that he shouldn't worry about the murder because he already asked God to forgive them of their sins.
Before leaving the room Henry tells the servant to make sure the staff keeps the current flower arrangement up as he will be planning a wedding in the near future.
Let's hope the Francis and Mary catch on to his scheme before it's too late. The celebrity news site revealed that the episode description hints that the "young couple will be forced to make some difficult decisions that could change the course of history when the King's cruelty and insanity reaches a new fevered pitch."
The "Reign" season 1 finale airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on the CW.
