Pharrell made some fans not so happy with his ELLE UK cover. The singer ditched signature Vivienne Westwood hat for a Native American headpiece, topped with beads and a hemp sweater.

"We persuaded ELLE Style Award winner Pharrell to trade his Vivienne Westwood mountie hat for a native American feather headdress in his best ever shoot," said a statement on ELLE.com.

It was removed and replaced with "Continuing our tradition of featuring cult male icons on collector's edition covers we persuaded ELLE Style Award winner Pharrell to collaborate with us on his best ever shoot."

Angry fans took to twitter to express their sentiments to the "Happy" musician.

"@ELLEUK @Pharrell Cultural appropriation? I thought your magazine had standards," user Seneca Chartrand wrote.

She later tweeted, "@ELLEUK @Pharrell headdresses are NOT costumes."

#NotHappy even started trending.

"Hope @pharrell is #happy with his ignorance because Natives are #nothappy seeing those who earned their feathers being disrespected," says user Johnnie Jae.

Talia E. Myres echoes these claims, tweeting, "@Pharrell - I'm a big fan, and I'm a Cherokee citizen. Disappointed to see you in a headdress on the @ELLEmagazine cover :( #nothappy."

Hopefully Pharrell apologizes and his fans can forgive him!

In other news, pop star Foxes will join the rapper for 25 dates on his European tour.

"He heard it and invited me on his tour," she told the BBC of her "Happy" cover. "Apparently that's how it came about."

Her manager called her with the good news. Foxes will play opening night in Manchester and two shows at London's O2 arena.

"It will be the biggest venues I've played," she said. "I've played the O2 before [as a guest vocalist for] Rudimental. But to be able to do my own set will be other-worldly."

"It's just amazing to be going on tour with such an incredible artist," the songstress added. "His music has gone worldwide."
