Bret Michaels has suffered from diabetes since childhood, and it got the best of him during a show in Manchester, New Hampshire on Thursday. Just three songs in Michaels was forced to cut his concert short due to "extremely low blood sugar." We hope he is okay!

Guitarist Pete Evick posted a message on Michaels' website, reading:

"In the nine years I've stood next to him, I've never seen a look like the one on his face, as if I was a complete stranger. One of the crew returned instantly to notify me that Bret's sugar was extremely low. . . He returned to the stage to announce that he could not continue. As you all know, he is a health fanatic and fiercely monitors his blood sugar; he basically had to be dragged off the stage in his sickest of conditions."

Members of "Team Bret" also posted a thank-you on Facebook, shouting out to the paramedics who assisted Michaels in his time of need.

"No words can thank you enough for your help," they wrote.

In 2010 Michaels suffered a brain hemorrhage followed by a stroke and underwent heart surgery in 2011. The "Poison" front man has not let health stop him from participating in "Celebrity Apprentice" and releasing a new album "Jammin' With Friends."

"2010 was, without question, a roller coaster year for me," he told Vegas All Night. "But when you have an amazing family, and you still have a lot music left to make, and you have such incredible and supportive fans behind you, you're going to fight until the very last breath before you throw in that towel."

We hope Michaels recovers quick!
