It looks like James Franco decided to grace Instagram with another semi-nude selfie that is sure to get a lot of attention. On Thursday the 36-year-old actor posted another racy shirtless photo on the social media.

According to E! News, attached to the picture was the caption, "SELFIEMADNESS The adderall diaries." The celebrity news site noted that Dave Franco's older brother is actually expected to star in the upcoming movie that is based on Stephen Elliott's memoir of the same name.

In his latest selfie the "Palo Alto" star is shirtless posing with his pants are unbuttoned and his underwear exposed, coming very close to flashing his public hair.

In the photo James Franco (Which has since been deleted) appears to be mimicking the image next to his mirror which appears to be a 1975 Robert Mapplethorpe self-portrait.

This isn't the first time the "Spring Breakers" star has posted a racy Instagram photo. Earlier this month, he shared a photo of himself in which he pulled down his white boxer briefs, coming very close to exposing his penis however, he later defended the controversial image to David Letterman.

James Franco explained, "There's a lot to get straight here and I don't even know if we have time," adding, "But to me, it's just a fun thing. It's something I don't put a ton of thought into, but it gets a lot of attention. I have a lot of followers on Instagram."

He added: "It's not like I'm putting that on billboards. Ostensibly, Instagram is for my fans. But now all the bloggers are following me on there so they'll just take it and use my images for whatever they want...I didn't ask you to look at it! It's what the people want!"

Prior to that he made headlines after trying to pick up a 17-year-old tourist on Instagram. During an appearance on "Live! With Kelly and Michael" he told the host, "I'm embarrassed, and I guess I'm just a model of, you know, how social media is tricky."
