Taylor Schilling shot to fame as Piper Chapman, the main character on Netflix's "Orange Is The New Black." She revealed to Glow Magazine that she plans to have her own family in the future.

"In the future, I'd love to have a family because I love kids," she said. "I spent a lot of time with them before I started acting full-time, because I was working as a nanny."

"It's a part of who I am. I feel so nervous for kids when I see them on set. I feel very grateful that I don't know what that world of being a child actor is at all."

Schilling also explained why she feels "OITNB" is making an impact.

"Sometimes the entertainment industry denies reality, but the reality is, when you walk down the street there are so many different variations of what it means to be a human being and a woman, and I believe they are all OK," she explained.

"The series has made more space for realistic characters on TV that are based on all kinds of real people, as they're all valuable and worth having their story told."

Schilling received a 2014 Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Chapman. This was a turning point in her career, revealing her full potential.

"I feel like I've been really validated by that Globe nomination. Before [the nomination], I hadn't had the opportunity to share my talents yet," the actress stated.

"Now I know I've finally been seen by so many people and I'm on the right track. I'm so grateful Jenji [Kohan, creator of OITNB] saw who I really was during my audition. She saw what I was capable of."
