James Franco is NOT happy producers went with a "Spring Breakers" sequel. The "This Is The End" star has no faith in "Spring Breakers 2: The Second Coming," and is not afraid to show it!

"This is not being done with (director) Harmony Korine or my consent," Franco wrote on his Instagram account. "The original was wholly Harmony's creation and these producers are capitalizing on that innovative film to make money on a weak sequel."

He also condemned any original cast mate that will take part in the production.

"Whoever is involved ... is jumping on board a poison ship."

"It will be a terrible film, with a horrible reason d'être: to make money off someone else's creativity," the actor explained. "Can you imagine someone making the sequel to 'Taxi Driver' without (director Martin) Scorsese and (Robert) DeNiro's consents? Insanity!"

He then added, "I'm speaking up for Harmony and his original vision and for any creative person who cares about preserving artistic integrity."

Franco campaigned for the original "Spring Breakers" to obtain Oscar recognition, though it received mixed reviews from critics.

"You start the film wondering what the moral take on all this uninventive debauchery is going to be - is it a satire? - but then realise with dismay there is no take on offer at all," "This Is London" critic Dave Sexton claimed.

He will definitely not return to the sequel, and it does not seem Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson or Rachel Korine will either.

We have seen rather outlandish behavior from "The Pineapple Express" actor as of late, from hitting on a 17-year-old girl to posting nearly naked selfies. His younger brother Dave Franco can currently be seen on the big screen in "Neighbors" alongside Seth Rogen and Zac Efron.
