Even though Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have split the actor still has plenty of memorable moments from their scenes together.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 star recently recalled his favorite Delena moments of Damon and Elena getting busy in the bedroom.

According to Entertainment Wise, during a chat with E! News the actor couldn't help but talk about his character's skills in the sack.

He admitted, "Damon's bed is too king beds together...It definitely fits one Elena," adding, "There's been some good rolling around. It's cool because you can get a couple of rolls in."

What came as a shock to the actor was his desire to have Damon and Elena get back together. The Somerhalder reasoned his decision based on the history between Damon, his brother Stefan and what they have done to Elena and her family in the past.

Nina Dobrev's ex-boyfriend explained, "They've been through a lot together and everyone keeps saying: 'Oh she needs to be with Damon, she needs to be with Stefan'.

"But here's the thing does anyone not recognize we've killed her entire family? We killed her, caused her to burn her house down, destroyed the town. These two guys destroyed and everyone still wants them together."

It seems like Ian Somerhalder along with fans who are Delena advocates may get their wish of a reunion between the two lovers as "The Vampires Diaries" executive producer Caroline Dries hinted at a spoiler by the season's end.

She told TV Guide, "Nothing about Elena and Damon will ever be firm, only because their relationship is so fiery and complicated. But their feelings will be expressed by the end of the season."
