Just a week ago Ian Somerhalder was cuddled up with his ex-girlfriend Maggie Grace on Instagram at the PaleyFest "Lost" reunion, but over the weekend it was a very different atmosphere at the event as the actor kept his distance from his "Vampire Diaries" costar Nina Dobrev.

According to Entertainment Wise, the cast if the CW hit series hit the Paley Center in Los Angeles to promote their show but did not spend much time together. However, the former couple still remains a fan favorite pair despite their real life split.

During the event fans urged the pair to shoot a sexy kiss in the rain as their characters Damon and Elena but it seems like the stars are still scarred about what happened the last they filmed a water drenched scene. Ian Somehalder explained why the hot kiss was not going to happened.

He said, "First of all, it's really cold in Georgia, so I don't think that's such a good idea," adding, "It was below 30 degrees, and it got so cold the muscles in my jaw froze and I couldn't speak. I looked like I had Bell's palsy."

Nina Dobrev added, "I got icicles in my hair and I got really sick."

As for their character's future relationship, Somehalder admitted, "When you have grown-up conversations, you have to put your big boy pants and big girl pants on and have the conversation," adding, "They keep taking their pants off, and that's what gets in the way of the grown up conversations."

Following PaleyFest the gorgeous brunette went topless in the new trailer of "Let's Be Cops." The film revolves around Jake Johnson and Damon Waynes Jr who are two unsuccessful friends that dress up as police officers to a costume party.

Although the party is a bust the two quickly realize that impersonating cops can be fun.

Dobrev plays a waitress who falls for Waynes' character and is apparently eager to get topless in front of him.
