Are "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" back in action? New reports state Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will once again grace the big screen together!

"The film is set in Europe," sources exclusively revealed to Just Jared. "It's such an exciting new venture. People will not want to miss it!"

Jolie wrote the original script and no other details are finalized, such as plot or the director. Deadline first broke the news of their latest project.

The Hollywood Reporter suggests the film is a romantic drama, featuring a couple who take a trip as a final attempt to save their marriage. The "Maleficent" actress is said to have wrote that script several years ago.

"Mr. and Mrs. Smith" was a hit at the box office, grossing $186 million in North America. At that time the pair began their long-term, serious relationship. It has been nearly a decade since we saw them together on-screen.

Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston prior to meeting Jolie.

The actress is currently in post-production for "Unbroken," which she directed for Universal, and "Maleficent" hits theaters on May 30. Pitt will hit the big screen again as Sargent Wardaddy in World War II flick "Fury."

"Unbroken" is due out this December. Jolie made her directorial debut with "In The Land of Blood and Honey."

The pair, dubbed "Brangelina," got engaged in 2012 and have six children together -- Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax and twins Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie hinted to E! News last year it was possible, stating, "We're talking about it. We have an idea."

When asked if it would be a romantic comedy, the "Tomb Raider" star replied, "We don't know how funny we are," she smiled. "And you you never know what you want to see an actual couple do. Sometimes it's better if they're not a couple."

Typically the couple do not work on films together sot that one can take care of their children, but it looks like they might be making an exception!
