Even though Johnny Depp and his girlfriend turned fiancé Amber Heard have been making headlines with their recent engagement his former lady, Vanessa Paradis is still looking for love.

According to E! News, since her split from her longtime boyfriend the French beauty has been dealing with the break up in her own way.

A source recently revealed that the French singer has been spending an increased amount of time in her native France because she "wants to find love with a Frenchman."

The insider continued, "Of course the last two years have been hard, but Vanessa is a battler and she's never felt more happy in her career."

The actress who has found comfort in her large extended family from Paris seems to be optimistic about her love life following the end of her romance with "Into the Woods" actor.

A source said, "She doesn't regret a moment of her life with Johnny but would love to meet up with a lovely Frenchman who will sweep her off her feet."

What better place to find love than in Paris which happens to be Vanessa Paradis' "favorite place in the world."

The mother of two currently lives there in an apartment not too far from where she was raised, near the suburb of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.

Now that Deep has moved on with 27-year-old Amber Heard, the 41-year-old is still "hugely sad" about the end of her relationship with the 50-year-old actor but she is "confident and looking to the future."

After 14 years of dating and two children together, Johnny Depp's publicist confirmed that the couple had "amicably separated" in July 2012.

Since her break up Paradis has released a double album titled "Love Songs," a source revealed that the first single "Love Song" makes her "so happy."
