Love It or Leave It: Miley Cyrus' Bob Wig

Close

Miley Cyrus' mane is on the move again! The controversial 21-year-old singer had gone from being a member of the pixie posse to the bob brigade over the weekend.

Debuting her new wig at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas concert in Los Angeles, the daring diva shocked us. Hasn't Miley perfected the art of making jaws drop by now? The "Wrecking Ball" songbird's short bob featured freshly chopped and wispy baby bangs, barely reaching her chin. The new hairpiece framed her jawline at an elongated angle, but still fit her face perfectly (and complemented her bright red pout.)

We thought the headline-making performer's hairstyle was very versatile. With a little gel, Miley could sport the signature slicked-back hair that many other starlets have rocked lately. The pop diva could have even used bobby pins to pull the top back for a cute, sophisticated look.

But just like the singer's fans, we wonder what she will do next.

Well, from the looks of things, it seems Miley is growing out the top strands to wear buns, but keeping the short shaved sides for an edgy look. Celebrity hairstylist and guru Chris McMillan, who has worked on Jennifer Aniston's hair, explained Miley's next mane move to E! News. "She's not done with it being short," said Chris, adding that it's been about a year since the songstress changed her hair. "She's just growing the top to be able to do more with her hair. She's just evolving the look naturally.

"We remember the pop queen's drastic transformation to her platinum-blonde pixie last year. Thanks to social media, Miley's haircut had flooded the beauty world and put all eyes on her. Her new bob wig already has many people talking up a storm, proving that the singer is both intriguing and eye-catching.
