Lea Michele has been making great strides to move past boyfriend Cory Monteith's tragic death and as the holidays roll around the "Glee" season 5 star is thankful for the people she has in her life although her costar is gone.

According to Us Weekly, the 27-year-old revealed that she will be spending time with her parents over the holidays after having a difficult summer.

The actress said, "I have my amazing family with me. My mom and my dad -- we're just going to do something -- the three of us -- and spend time [together]."

While being honored at the L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2013 event in New York City Tuesday, December 3rd Michele told Extra, "I have the most incredible family. I love my dear friends. They are always there for me and so wonderful. I'm so thankful for them."

One friend that she is especially glad to have in her life is "Glee" costar and the 2013 "Dancing with the Stars" champion Amber Riley. Lea Michele explained, "I've got to give a shout out to Miss Amber Riley."

She added, "She's the best. I love her so much. I'm so proud of her [and] she's been there for me so much through everything. I'm so thankful this year for those friends and my family."

The Bronx native previously revealed her guest costar Kate Hudson also helped her through her difficult time while she was dealing with the initial shock from the discovery of her boyfriend's passing.

In the December issue of Elle she told the magazine, "I called her and said, I don't know where I'm going to go because my house is swarmed [with reporters]. She was like, 'Oh, you're going to stay at my house.' Like it was nothing."

She went on to say, "She let my family stay there, and any of my friends. She made sure that in the refrigerator were my favorite juices. I'll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me."

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith confirmed they were dating in early 2012. In July, the actor was found dead at the age of 31in his Vancouver hotel room from a "mixed drug toxicity" consisting of heroin and alcohol.
