Although she is rumored to be having an onset fling with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev opted to spend Thanksgiving with her best friend Julianne Hough and her former flame Derek Hough.

According to Hollywood Life, "The Vampire Diaries" actress hopped on the short flight from Atlanta, Georgia where she films her hit CW series to Nashville in order to spend the holiday with her best gal pal.

Dobrev, who is Canadian already celebrated her country's Thanksgiving holiday and instead of flying back home opted to stay in America.

The actress took to her Instagram account to recount how grateful she is of everything she has.

In one photo she and Julianne Hough sat by the fireplace together. Attached to the photo read the caption, "Giving thanks. For friends. Family. Love. Life. Oh and food. Hot coco. Fireplaces. Crisp winter air. Laughter. Sleeping in @juliannehough."

She went on to post another photo of Thanksgiving decorations and wrote the caption, "Also thankful for @juleshough -friend who has become family. And to her amazing family who has welcomed and treated me like one of their own."
