Quite some time that has passed since Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder decided to break up but "The Vampire Diaries" costars seem to be very friendly with each other since they made the decision to stop dating.

The former couple actually got back together over the weekend to celebrate the 100th episode of their hit CW series along with the rest of the cast and crew.

According to Entertainment Wise, the group huddled together for a photos where the actress stood slightly in front of her ex-boyfriend where he placed his hand on her shoulder and she leaned back into his hold.

In the photo it was clear that the men were going for a black tie sort of look however, the woman decided not to go the traditional way.

Cast member Kat Graham decided to flaunt her figure in a bronze colored dress while Candice Accola opted for an little black dress.

However, Nina Dobrev made sure all eyes were on her wearing a multicolored fitted dress.

Ever since the starlet and Ian Somerhalder split, the two have remained friends with one another. The actress recently took to her Twitter account to congratulate her now strictly onscreen boyfriend for his nomination for a People's Choice Award.

The actress tweeted, "And a congrats shout out to @iansomerhalder for his nomination in the Best SciFi Actor category! Way to represent the male Vampires!Kill it!"

A few minutes later the "Lets be Cops" star wrote, "(Pun totally intended)."

Together Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder stand to take home the Favorite On Screen Chemistry award for their roles as Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore on the show.
