Rumor has it that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have been hooking up lately and may possibly be on the road to getting back together!
According to E! News, insiders revealed that it is still too soon to tell whether or not "The Vampire Diaries" stars will make a full reconciliation, but the two are confirmed to be definitely getting hot and heavy once again.
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's onscreen characters Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore recently won E! Online's Best TV Couple of All Time Tournament and the celebrity news site caught up with the actors on their Atlanta set to find out their reaction.
"I mean it's crazy!" the actress said of the win.
Somerhalder added, "The Delena fans are so passionate and so enthusiastic and such rabid lovers of Damon and Elena's chemistry and their relationship that obviously we're incredibly flattered and excited about it. It is really awesome!"
The actor went on to say, "Relationships are hard in real life, and they're exceptionally hard in Mystic Falls because when you have happiness in Mystic Falls, you have no drama. And if you have no drama, you have no TV show."
Despite their split back in May, the two CW stars have remained close friends and professional during their time filming the show. "There's no bad blood between them," a source revealed at the time of the break up.
The insider explained that the couple decided to call it quits after realizing that Dobrev wasn't ready to settle down as much as Somerhalder wanted to. The source went on to say, "There was no other person involved or any big fight," adding, "This wasn't something out of the blue."
Over the weekend two reunited to celebrate the 100th episode of their hit CW series along with the rest of the cast and crew.
Posing for a group photo the actress stood slightly in front of her ex-boyfriend and he placed his hand on her shoulder as she leaned back into his hold.
