It looks likes Princess Caroline drew some fashion inspiration from her younger brother, Prince Albert's wife Princess Charlene of Monaco.

According to HELLO! Magazine, the royal wore the same color scheme as her sister-in-law wore last week.

Caroline, attended Monaco's National Day celebrations on Tuesday wearing a velvet gown very similar to the one worn by Charlene.

However, the 56-year-old princess made sure her gown was age appropriate seeing as Princess Charlene's gown was sleeveless and form fitting, hugging and flaunting her curves.

Princess Caroline opted for a looser fit dress with long sleeves accessorized with a matching pale blue necklace and a pair of earrings while Charlene, 35, opted for a pair of dazzling diamond earrings and silver bracelets.

Meanwhile, for Tuesday's event the skilled equestrian wore a more conservative outfit that featured a floor length black dress with long sleeves, proving that the two Monegasque royals inspire each other's style.

Earlier in the day, the former Olympic swimmer joined her husband for mass at the cathedral to mark the celebration.

The couple who married on 2011 was later seen waving from the palace balcony during a parade after showing their support to the Red Cross by visiting a gift-giving event for the elderly at their headquarters.
