Princess Charlene of Monaco looked absolutely stunning as she attended an awards ceremony dedicated to her late mother-in-law, the loved Princess and movie star, Grace Kelly in New York on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old former Olympic swimmer was the guest of honor at the Princess Grace Awards Gala, according to the Daily Mail.

According to New York Magazine, the stunning South African beauty wore a rich dark-green taffeta gown that featured an impressive ruffled high collar by Ralph Lauren.

Prince Albert's wife, Princess Charlene wore her blonde hair gelled back flaunting her fabulous cheek bones as she smiled brightly.

The charitable royal even took the time to pose with a young girl who gave the former Olympian a bouquet of flowers.

The princess previously shot down rumors that she tried to run away from her wedding to Grace Kelly's son.

In a September interview the royal of Monaco addressed the rumors surrounding the tears streaming down her cheeks while at her wedding to Prince Albert in 2011.

She insisted that they were not the result of her reaction to his womanizing past but was in fact tears of happiness.

She also described the speculation and rumors that she tried to escape in the days leading up to her wedding, as "categorical lies."
