Catherine Duchess of Cambridge continues to prove that despite the fact that she is a royal she can be down to earth and things on her own which includes clothes shopping at a popular store.

Kate Middleton was recently spotted making her way into the high street chain retail store Zara just hours before an official engagement, according to Entertainment Wise.

The 31 year-old, mother of Prince George had a busy week that included her and Prince William son's christening last Wednesday. Middleton eventually made her way over to the 100 Women In Hedge Funds annual gala dinner in aid of Action on Addiction a day later, where she was seen visiting one of her and little sister Pippa Middleton's favorite shop Zara.

The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her trips to High Street where she does shopping for both herself and items to decorate her new home at Kensington Palace.

A couple of months ago while buying a few things from a store in Norfolk, Prince George's mom asked for a discount. The owner of the shop Carolyn Combe told Tatler magazine about the experience.

According to news.com.au, she said "Kate came in when quite pregnant. Such thin legs in her wellies. She was looking at various things and asked for a discount," Combe revealed.

The shop owner admitted that she gave Kate Middleton the discount without a second thought. Combe said, "Of course," adding, "she's got a big house to do up. But I love her for asking."
