As more digging goes into the lifestyle of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge reports are surfacing that the royal is a down-to-earth individual despite being the wife of Prince William and mother to the heir of the royal throne.

Apparently Kate Middleton loves a good bargain and is often found skimming the sales rack while shopping at designer outlets.

According to The Mirror, Prince George's mother regularly shops at Bicester Village in Oxfordshire. It is there where she picked up an on sale Missoni dress coat which she has worn to various public appearances, including a visit to Fortnum and Mason with the Queen and Camilla.

The 31-year-old Duchess is a fan of the High Street chain Reiss's outlet, where she can be found rummaging through the 60 percent off racks.

The publication reported that sales guru Mark Elwood found out some interesting details about Kate Middleton while researching his new book, "Bargain Fever: How to Shop in a Discounted World."

A sales associate at Reiss told Elwood that Kate is a "fuss-free sales shopper."

The retail worker explained, "You look up and there'll be Kate and her same two friends going through the 60 per cent off rack."

She added, "You have no idea she's there and security must be outside, but she comes in all the time. And she's totally different to the Prince of Thailand, who I heard shut down a restaurant and brought his own staff when he visited Bicester."
