Johnny Depp's and his girlfriend Amber Heard are clearly still going strong as the two who are currently dating will appear in another movie together.

The 50-year-old actor is set to make a cameo in the 27-year-old starlet's new movie, "London Fields." The film is based on the Martin Amis' 1989 dark criminal comedy novel of the same name.

According to E! News, there has been no confirmation on what exactly will be Depp's role in the film, which is currently shooting in the UK.

However, sources told The Hollywood Reporter that "The Lone Ranger" star has already shot his scenes for the film after taking time out the Rob Marshall adaptation of the Broadway musical fantasy, "Into the Woods" in which he's playing the Big Bad Wolf.

"London Fields" is set in 1999 and follows the life of a terminally ill American writer named Sam, played by Billy Bob Thornton, who is living in London and suffering from 20 years worth of writer's block.

He then visits a "seedy London pub" in which he meets promiscuous psychic, Nicolas Six, played by Amber Heard, who sees her own future through her visions. Fearing the aging process she decides to plot her own murder in which Sam subsequently chronicles.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were rumored to be on the rocks following several fights but the two seem to have patched things up seeing as they were spotted out on a dinner date last Thursday night in London's Mayfair District.

The newly blonde actor looked slender in his brown suit and white button down shirt. Meanwhile, Heard wore a pretty pale pink lace dress with her blonde hair tied back into a ponytail. She accessorized the look with a bold shade of red lipstick.

The two met while staring alongside each other in the 2011 film "The Rum Diary."
