Did you miss "The Originals" episode 2 "House of the Rising Son?" Well if so we have a recap of all the supernatural drama that took place on Tuesday night.

Now that Elijah has stopped answering her calls Rebekah has decided to return to New Orleans to find him. But tracking down her brother will not come easy as she has been drawing a lot of attention to herself with her sporadic killing streaks.

Within the hour ling episode Rebekah learns that after Klaus daggered Elijah he gave his body over to his former protégé Marcel.

Of course this is apart of Klaus' plan to gain the title of king and take back New Orleans from Marcel but we soon learn that Klaus has no idea what he is in for.

This particular episode consisted of many flashbacks in which we go to the 1800's where we see that Klaus not only created Marcel in his image but he saved him from slavery, raised him and loved him like a son.

So much so that he daggered Rebekah and sent her into a 52 year slumber when he found out that she and Marcel had feelings for each other. Klaus actually has a long history of killing Rebekah's suitors until she eventually stopped falling in love.

We also learn during the blast to the past that Marcel sacrificed his human life to free Rebekah from her deep slumber.

But back in the present Klaus and Rebekah discover Marcel's weakness, a human named Cami that he is desperately trying to pursue.

In turn someone who has a sweet spot for Marcel is his little witch Davina who he uses to control the witches in the French Quarter.

Rebekah manages to track down Elijah's body which lies in a coffin and meets Davina who later wipes her memory of the its location.

While everyone else is focused on Marcel, Hayley has turned her attention to getting rid of her hybrid baby by taking vervain which would end her pregnancy.

However, she soon decides to keep the child after Rebekah saves her from being killed by Marcel's goons because she is a werewolf.

In the end Hayley forms a closer bond with Rebekah over their complicated relationship with Klaus and she also manages to grow closer to him seeing as they have similar pasts.

They both have been rejected by their own families or at least feel that way and now they are determined to make sure their baby doesn't suffer the same fate.
