And there goes another season of "The Vampire Diaries'" didn't catch it? Well here is a recap of the season 4 finale "Graduation."
Following the return of the dead at mystic falls we find Kol and other vengeful undead causing chaos with graduation ensuing in the midst. Stefan and Lexi are partying away as Stefan slowly begins to wallow in self-pity.
Meanwhile a dead Bonnie is not ready to reveal her death to her friends and pretends she is still alive.
Vaughn shows up and shoots Damon prior to delivering a message from Qetsiyah but before he delivers another threat Stefan shows up and rips his heart out according to Entertainment Weekly.
We see Alaric save the Mystic Grill after Conner tries to blow it up and we see Katherine demand that Bonnie give her immortality of Elena will suffer.
Meanwhile Elena is at the Slavatore mansion with Damon who gives her the cure as her graduation present. However she notices that his wooden bullet wound did not heal because it was laced with werewolf Venom. She insists he takes the cure.
Damon refused not wanting to live the life of a mortal, he decided if he was going to die he did not want Vaughn around and gave the cure to distract him.
Somehow all the characters made it through graduation and received their diplomas. Kol showed up to graduation telling Bonnie he wants the veil to remain down, she tells that is what she wants too. She then takes him to her body and traps him the room.
In the season finale we finally see Matt and Rebekah make romantic progress. The two share their first kiss when they are put in the situation of Matt being the trigger for a bomb. It just so happens that the person who set the whole thing up is Rebekah's ex-boyfriend.
In the midst of ensuing death the two plan a European vacation. Once they get out of the bomb situation Rebekah tells Matt that she understands if he no longer wants to go on the vacation but he tells her he does!
But we just don't see how this romance will last seeing as Claire Holt (Rebekah) is set to star on the TVD spinoff "The Originals."
Speaking of "The Originals" stars let's talk about Klaus. Oh, has he been a naughty boy. But first let's talk about his romantic side. In the season 4 finale episode Klaus and Caroline share a kiss, unfortunately only on the cheek however Klaus tells Caroline that even though Tyler is her first love, he intends to be her last. Could this mean a TVD and Originals cross over? According to Julie Plec we think so!
Now on to bad Klaus, upon his return to some much needed onscreen time Silas gives us something to remember by when he puts the terror-at-commencement to an end by slicing off a hybrid's head with a graduation cap according to Popsugar.
On to the Elena Gilbert, Salvatore brothers love triangle, can you say Delena? That's right Elena tells Damon she loves him, that means its official which means Stefan heads out of town. On his way out he stops to dump Silas in the water and Silas reveals his true form, Stefan.
Stefan and Silas are doppelgangers just like Elena and Katharine. Things get even worse for Stefan when Silas locks him in a safe and drops him into a watery grave.
Meanwhile Bonnie lifts the veil making our most loved and hated ghost disappear. Jeremy remains alive and Bonnie goes to the other side.
Elena and Katherine have the fight we expected with Katherine receiving the cure after Elena knocks her unconscious and force feeds it to her. Katherine is now human!
