It looks like the filming of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1" is in full swing as Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth were spotted on set shooting a scene as their characters Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne respectively.

The actors were on the Georgia set of the third movie on Tuesday looking like typical District 12 natives. Lawrence who has now ditched her natural blonde hair for her character's signature brunette locks looked far from the glamorous actress we are used to seeing dazzle on red carpets.

The actress wore a messy braid to the side with a brown leather jacket over a grey suit with heavy grey boots while Hemsworth wore the exact same thing, just minus the jacket.

According to E! News, the shoot took place at Sweetwater Creek State Park just outside of Atlanta and saw the characters stopping to rest in a scenic forest at which point they apparently have an intimate yet somber moment.

At during the scene the Nicholas Hoult's girlfriend reaches her arm over to grab Miley Cyrus' ex-fiancé as he stared off into the distance as if something weighed heavy on his mind, according to the Daily Mail.

In another shot, the actors are sitting in the same position but had sand bags under their feet to keep their boots from getting wet.

Both actors later stood up later and held their weapons, with Hemsworth wielding what looked like a sniper rifle but contained arrows rather than bullets.

The mood of the scene seemed to be morbid but when the cameras weren't rolling the actors chatted and even shared a couple of laughs revealing that they get along well.
