The most obvious choice for Prince George Alexander Louis' godparents is Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton, according to Hollywood Life.

Kate Middleton and Prince William could easily put their respective siblings in the honorable roles, but the Prince's aunt and uncle are not shoo-ins, reported HL.

In fact, the Duke and Dutchess could choose up to six godparents for the royal baby as per tradition. The royal family chooses three women and three men to fill the covetable spots, which most people think two spots will go to Middleton's younger sister and William's younger brother though it's not necessarily true.

But Majesty Magazine's Editor-in-Chief Ingrid Seward told People that there are no easy way to picking six godparents, "There are no hard and fast rules about this."

Seward continued, "But I just know the royal family has never had a celebrity as a godparent. Godparents don't have to be your best friend. Quite often it is quite the opposite, it can somebody quite random."

William's cousin, mother of five and jewelry designer, India Hicks told People that she selected godparents for various reasons, "We chose one that we know will be there if anything happened to us and be able to take over the mothering for the child."

"We chose one who was fascinating from a religious point of view," Hicks continued, "and had a very different [take] on life, could teach the children a different way of looking at religion. We chose a great artist who could inspire them. I would think [godparents] wouldn't be any different from that."

Other possibilities for the baby prince's godparents include the wife of William's uncle Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, William's cousin and olympic equestrian champion Zara Tindall and some of Middleton's other family members.

The godparents will have to be in place by the Fall when the future king on England will have a christening, reported People.
