Meghan Markle's outfits during royal outings have always been the talk of town. Now, it's time for her shoes to take centerstage after she was spotted wearing stilettos at the Sentebale Polo 2018.

The former Suits actress showed her support for her husband, Prince Harry, for his polo match during the event, but she did so like a true fashionista that she is. Markle showed just how she was ready to take on the world, er, grass, with some killer stilettos.

The 36-year-old rocked a Carolina Herrera denim dress, which, although sounds more relaxed, has a structure that totally suits her. She paired this off with huge Tom Ford sunglasses and a nude J. Crew clutch and Aquazzura pumps.

The pumps looked too familiar, except that the color wasn't the same. It seemed to be like the black pumps she wore at the Queen's Youth Leader Awards partnered with black clutch, which she donned with her boatneck nude dress.

Photos of Markle seemed to say the Duchess of Sussex handled her choice of stilettos pretty well, as she carried herself gracefully while walking on the grass. Fans of the royal couple also witnessed a sweet kiss shared by her and Prince Harry at the awarding ceremony.

Speaking of Markle's talent in walking with heels in technically anywhere, this isn't the first time she did some walking on the grass. Earlier this month, she also did the same thing at the Croke Park in Ireland during her official visit with Prince Harry.

Royal Protocol?

While Markle may look like she's comfortable doing this, there may be a deeper reason why she had kept the heels in events. Apparently, Queen Elizabeth II allegedly did not like wedges, which would be easier to use in events like the Sentebale Polo 2018.

A royal protocol may be the culprit as to why Markle had steered clear from the wedges. As per a source who revealed to Vanity Fair, it's not only the Duchess of Sussex who has had to remove wedges from the pile.

"The Queen isn't a fan of wedged shoes. She really doesn't like them and it's well known among the women in the family," the insider said.

This fueled the rumors that it was this rule from Her Majesty that had prompted the Duchess of Cambridge to stop wearing wedges. A lot of Kate Middleton's fans noticed she suddenly opted to always wear heels instead of what she was always seen, and they easily connected this to the reported royal protocol.
