Beyonce and Jay Z are reportedly planning to move to France with their 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy to extend their brood.

The power couple decided to spend  a year in a chateau in Chigny-les-Roses where Jay Z's champagne brand Armand de Brignac is produced, according to Daily Star.

"Jay and Bey have been spending a lot of time in Paris lately and they adore France," a tipster told the British newspaper."Beyonce is keen to put down roots there because her mum's side of the family are part-French and they adore the laid-back lifestyle and culture."

The two recording artists have also reportedly decided to put their careers at the bottom of their priority lists for the meantime while living in the French commune.  "So next year they'll put music on the back-burner and enjoy France, spending time in a gorgeous chateau in Chigny-les-Roses. They want to have some time doing very little, enjoying Blue Ivy and chilling out," the insider said.

"They are hoping she will pick up the lingo too. And of course it will be great for their French," the source added.

But the big reason they are planning to spend 12 months in France is to start trying for another baby.

"They're hoping to conceive their second child out there," the tipster dished. "And taking a year out will allow Beyonce to have a quiet, stress-free pregnancy."

Last month, the pair was reportedly house-hunting in Paris, fueling rumors that the lovebirds are planning to move to France.

A source told E! News that the two stepped out together on Oct. 21, and checked out a big house with a private garden, surrounded by high trees, located in Neuilly Sur Seine - a wealthy commune in the western suburbs of Paris. The potential home is reportedly worth more than the usual 3 to 4 million euro-range on property in the area.

A tipster also told People that the two also toured a home in a gated community referred to as "Millionaire's Row," and a townhouse next to the Elysee Palace.
