John Legere, the CEO of T-Mobile, made it clear that he is not a believer of bendgate, the bending problem which plagues Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones, according to CNET.
Shortly after the company's latest gadget hit the market, a total of nine people contacted Apple to report that their smartphones got bent after they were placed inside their pockets for a long time.
This was followed by videos posted on YouTube that shows people intentionally bending their iPhones to prove that bendgate is a real thing.
But during this year's GeekWire Summit, Legere shared what he really thinks about the whole controversy surrounding Apple's smartphones.
After one of the hosts noticed that he has a perfectly straight iPhone 6 Plus, Legere took the device and sat on it to see if it would bend, GeekWire reported.
"That is such horses***," he said about bendgate. "I mean come on, what the f*** did you need to see?"
Emphasizing the durability of the iPhones, Legere took the device and mock-bended it with both hands.
"The video of the guy that's doing this - and if you could have seen his face, probably would have been purple," he said.
"The thing moves a little bit? Are you s***ting me? This is an amazing supercomputer in your hand," he added. "What the f*** are you putting it in your pants and sitting on it for?"
As for the unfortunate victims of bendgate, Legere suggested they should change their fashion preferences.
"Those nine people who sat on their phones, first of all, they need jeans that fit them a little better," he said. "This thing doesn't f***ing bend."
Legere noted that despite the bendgate controversy, the demand for the new iPhones hasn't gone down. As an official carrier partner of Apple, the CEO said T-Mobile has been swamped with requests from consumers wanting to purchase the devices, according to Apple Insider.
"Let me help you about bendgate or whatever it was," he said. "It's not slowing down the demand. The demand for these devices in the last few weeks is unbelievable.
