Award-winning and record-breaking "Chinese Zodiac" director and actor Jackie Chan is set to star with "Definition of Fear" actress Jacqueline Fernandez and Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in an Indo-Chinese film.

"I am glad that I will be working with such legendary actors," Fernandez told Hindustan Times of Chan and Bachchan. "The film will go on the floors in December this year. I can't reveal more details at this moment."

A source revealed Fernandez was "interested as soon as she knew that the project will be helmed by a popular Chinese director known for making action films. Although she will be cast opposite Abhay Deol, the fact that Bachchan and Chan are also part of it excited her."

Before becoming a Bollywood actress, Fernandez represented Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2006, where she was unplaced.

She has recently entered Hollywood playing a lead role in the thriller "Definition of Fear," which is written and directed by James Simpson and stars Katherine Barrell, Mercedes Papalia, Tammy Nera, Blythe Hubbard, Sean Tucker, Marr Stefiuk and Michael Mancini among others.

Interestingly, Chan's film "Rush Hour" which also starred Chris Tucker, is set to be released as a TV action series.

Having deals already closed with Warner Bros TV (WBTV), one of the studio's top show runners, Bill Lawrence, will co-write the project and executive produce it with the film franchise's director Brett Ratner and producer Arthur Sarkissian, Deadline has learned.

WBTV refused to comment about the project.

Meanwhile, Chan recently bagged several awards during the 11th Abuja International Film Festival with his film "Chinese Zodiac," which was released in 2012, Premium Times reported.

On Sept. 26, "Chinese Zodiac" won the film festival's Best Feature Film (Foreign), Golden Jury Award and Viewers' Choice while Chan won Best Directing.

Prior to this, Chan won two Guinness World records for having most stunts by a living actor and most credits in a film with him as actor, director, producer, cinematographer, and screenwriter, among others.
