Fran Drescher is married again!

The 56-year-old "The Nanny" star recently tied the knot with inventor Shiva Ayyadurai at their Malibu, California home, The Daily Mail reported.

A representative for the actress confirmed to People that the couple got married at their home on the beach in front of an intimate group of very close friends and family.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress took to Twitter to share the good news with her followers, writing, "Surprise!!!!! We got married!" along with a photo herself in a red dress with her partner sporting a plain white polo shirt.

At the ceremony, Drescher wore Badgley Mischka, while her groom wore Ralph Lauren, according to People.

Ayyadurai, who developed an electronic version of an interoffice mail system called "EMAIL," first met over a year ago at an event hosted by Indian-American author and physician Deepak Chopra.

"I was speaking on sages and scientists -- in fact, talking about innovation and the fact that we need to more universally look at the models of innovation," Ayyadurai told Huffington Post last month. "And Fran heard my talk and we fell in love, and we've been together since that talk."

"Every day is a celebration with Fran," he added. "Every day is almost a romantic hangout with her. We're always laughing, always enjoying ourselves."

Drescher was previously married to Peter Marc Jacobson for 21 years. They divorced in 1999, and Jacobson later came out from the closet.

"He had already been living a gay life away from me after we divorced, and he said, 'I don't want you to be shocked. I'm dating men,'" the actress told People in 2011 about her current producer partner.

Drescher was not shocked by Jacobson's revelation. "During our marriage he had told me he might be bisexual, but he wanted to stay married. By the time he told me, I had survived uterine cancer. Nothing could shake me," the actress said.

Apparently, over the years, the former husband and wife managed to become best friends. "It's great that we had the ability and the wisdom to reinvent our relationship. All those years weren't for nothing. We're very tight. We're best friends," she told the mag.
