Rumor has it that Hollywood’s A-listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have secretly tied the knot on Christmas. The power couple is reported to have made their relationship official in the Caribbean Turks and Caicos Island, where they were spending the holiday season, reports The Telegraph.

The couple, who got engaged in April 2012, has been pushing back their wedding plans for quite some time now. This is not the first time such rumors have surfaced, but considering Pitt recently said that he felt it was time to get married, the speculation might actually be true.

There have also been reports of the couple picking out wedding rings and according to the In Touch magazine, Jolie's stylist picked up wedding rings from Neil Lane jewelers in November.

Not just that, Pitt had dropped hints during the premiere of the film, “Killing Them Softly”. “I am getting more pressure from my kids. It's something I want to do within their lifetime, and I also feel like it's the right time. The time has come,” Pitt told fashionetc.com.

Back in August, media and fans went into a frenzy with rumors of the couple tying the knot in their French home, Chateau Miraval. Though nothing was confirmed, the festivities and guest list fuelled the rumors. Nothing eventually came out of it and it was later known that the celebrations were to mark Pitt's parents Jane and Bill's 50th wedding anniversary.

In 2006 too there were rumors of the couple getting married in Italy, but the marriage never took place.

Brangelina have been together for seven years and raise a brood of six children: Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7 who they adopted, and three biological children - Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The couple has often said that their children really want them to get married.
