The CW's Robbie Amell and his girlfriend of six years, ABC Family star Italia Ricci are finally engaged!

The 26-year-old hunky television actor dropped the good news himself to his Instagram followers on Wednesday, Aug. 20, Us Weekly has learned.

"She said yes!!!... I think. I can't really be sure," Amell captioned a photo where he and Ricci could be seen sharing a sweet kiss. "I'm going marry my best friend. @italiaricci."

In the photo, the "Tomorrow People" lead actor is noticeably pulling Italia very close while the latter tightly hugs Amell by wrapping her arms around his neck. Amell could also be seen holding a bottle of champagne in one hand suggesting that the twosome have celebrated their engagement intimately afterwards.

Following Amell's announcement, congratulatory messages from his fans and friends from the showbiz industry poured in, noted E! News.

Aside from "The Vampire Diaries" co-creator Julie Plec, Amell's "Tomorrow People" costar Luke Mitchell was one of the many who congratulated the soon-to-marry couple.

"ABOUT TIME!! Haha!" Mitchell, who tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Breeds in 2013, tweeted. "Congratulations guys!"

It can be noted that just last month, Stephen Amell's cousin and his longtime girlfriend celebrated their sixth year of being together.

"Happy 6 year anniversary to my favorite person in the entire world. I love you so much," the 27-year-old "Chasing Life" actress wrote on Instagram on July 19, adding, "Also, you're pretty good-looking. @robbieamell."

Amell and Ricci have always been a sweet and passionate couple as proven by their constant compliments for each other in interviews, according to Hollywood Life.

In June, Ricci even dished that the very secret why her relationship with Amell continues to work despite their busy schedules is because they remain honest to each other.

"We're really good friends and we're completely honest about everything because this industry can be really shady," the "Secret Girlfriend" star said at the time. "We just completely dig each other, we have for six years."

Amell, who starred in the short-lived CW series "Tomorrow People" is currently working hard to achieve a superhero body, for he is to play Firestorm in the upcoming CW series "The Flash," which is already set to premiere this Oct. 7.

On July 28, the Canadian actor shared a photo of his workout as part of his preparation for the action-packed series, reported Just Jared.

"Superhero workout 1... With my hero, my mom. Awww. I said game face, she smiled. And she's jealous of my @rootsoffight gear," Amell wrote as caption to the Instagram snap at the time.
