Donald Faison, who is expecting his second child with wife CaCee Cobb, is trying his best to be a doting husband and father.
Speaking at an "Exes" event in Los Angeles on Oct. 27, Faison, 40, told Us Weekly that he tries to pamper his pregnant wife but he has "never been good at pampering anyone."
"I am ecstatic [we are expecting]," the "Scrubs" alum said. "[But] This time, it was a little harder on her as far as morning sickness went - and that term, 'morning sickness,' is bulls--t. [It's] all day sick."
Faison then went on to say that he has high regard for Cobb, Jessica Simpson's best friend. "I have nothing but respect for her because I know how difficult it was for me during those first three months, so I can only imagine how difficult it is for her."
And while Faison is not good at pampering his wife, he said that he is supportive of her second pregnancy in the sense that he always "remembers" that she is expecting.
"That's the most important thing," he said. "Because it's like, 'Holy cow! You're different! But you're my wife and you're preggers.'"
Faison and Cobb, 36, announced that they are expecting their second child together on Oct. 21, via Instagram.
The couple each took to the image-sharing site to share a super adorable photo of their first son Rocco flashing his sweet smile with an animated bow tie and balloons and the words "I'm a big brother!!" typed across his shirt.
Speaking of Rocco, Faison told Us Weekly that his first born is a "typical 14-month-old." "He's really starting to communicate with us now too which is really cool to see," he revealed.
The actor also added that Rocco has already learned the ability to manipulate him and Cobb."The kid throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way now, and that's like, wow," Faison shared. "[It's like], 'You realize that we don't like to see you cry, so you're willing to pull it out of your ass and bring the tears, bring the water works until you get what you want'...I try not to [give in], but I'm a softie for him. And I want to say CaCee's not a softie. If we were to play good cop, I'm good cop, she's bad cop."
During Cobb's first pregnancy, she joked that she kept her husband constantly on his feet. "[I tell him], 'I need you to move this, I need you to move that. Pick up this, help me with this,'" she shared to People in June last year.
Faison and Cobb tied the knot in Zach Braff's backyard in December 2012, E! News reported.
While the couple's upcoming bundle of joy is going to be their second kid together, it will be Faison's sixth child. Aside from Rocco, the "Robot Chicken" voice actor is already father to Kobe, 12, twins Dade and Kaya, 14, and Sean, 17, from his previous relationships.
