Taran Killam cannot wait to welcome his second child with wife Cobie Smulders.

The 32-year-old "Saturday Night Live" funnyman talked to Us Weekly about expecting his second child while attending the Labyrinth Theater Company Celebrity Charades event in New York City Monday, Oct. 27.

Killam revealed that they decided to keep the gender of their upcoming baby a surprise."We're going to [make it a] surprise," revealed the "12 Years a Slave" actor, adding that "everything's healthy and coming along well."

After living bi-coastal for many years, Killam and Smulders are now living in New York City together. Last March, the 32-year-old "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" actress wrapped up the 9-season run of her hit CBS' comedy drama "How I Met Your Mother," which filmed in Los Angeles.

"We're in the same city, which we haven't been for four years," Killam shared. "Just literally laying side by side is a treat for both of us. We're really enjoying that."

When asked if he will have a lot of time to pick up late-night food cravings of her pregnant wife, Killam replied, "I wish!"

"I grew up watching 'Lady and the Tramp,' the Disney cartoon," he shared. "And there's the moment where he goes out and it's snowing and he says, 'Honey, are you sure you want watermelon?' And she says, 'Yeah and some chop suey too.' That was one of my favorite moments. [So] I keep trying to serve [Smulders] watermelon and chop suey."

As for how he is going to split his time between work and fatherhood, Killam said, "I'm [just] hoping my schedule lends itself to a newborn just in that I'm up all night. Hopefully that works out!"

The news that the Killam and Smulders are expecting another child together broke last week. The two are already parents to their 5-year-old daughter Shaelyn Cado, whom they welcomed in May 2009, People reported.

Not long after welcoming their first child, Smulders appeared on "The Bonnie Hunt Show," where she opened up about being a first-time mother. "I think I sleep an average of four hours a night now, so it's just like functioning on fumes sometimes," she said, as quoted by E! News. "But it's the best."
