Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their bizarre "conscious uncoupling" on Paltrow's lifestyle site GOOP three months ago. Now we are learning the Coldplay front man still lives with his estranged wife, and they have recently been spotted out together behaving like a couple.

"It's true they had problems but in the weirdest way this 'conscious uncoupling' situation has relieved the pressure on them," a source told Mail Online.

"Gwyneth had ground rules about not immediately dating, respecting each other, keeping things happy for their two children and communicating throughout but it seems to have acted as a wake-up call."

"Chris still lives with her, they are amazingly lovey-dovey together and she still wears her wedding ring. They may have consciously uncoupled a few months ago - but they seem to be recoupling now. No one will be surprised if they get back together."

Paltrow has made headlines lately with a string of bizarre statements. First, she said mothers who work 9-5 jobs have it easier than Hollywood moms, and then she compared negative social media comments to fighting in the war. In a less offensive rant, she explained on her GOOP site that water has feelings.

Martin recently revealed their "conscious uncoupling" inspired Coldplay's latest album "Ghost Stories."

"I wouldn't use the word breakdown. This was more a realization about trying to grow up basically. Like I said, if you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way," he stated.

"What changed for me was -- I don't want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure. Ever since our band came out, we have been a very polarizing group because we do a certain thing very well ... About two years ago I was a mess really because I can't enjoy the thing that we are good at and I can't enjoy the great things around me because I'm burdened by this -- I've got to not blame anyone else and make some changes."
